It's very simple really: I want to marry my best friend. In the temple.
And I find it sad how I feel like the world is making that statement so complicated.
I blame the ambiguous stigma of girls tending to call a guy "friend" to hint to a guy that they don't like them. It's kind of like that statement, "but you're still a nice guy!"
Girls, can we just please say things straightforward and right?
Cause it's making my life complicated when I tell a guy that he's really nice and he's a great friend...ANNND I could be interested in him.
Modern Mormon courtship culture may need some simplification.
Until then I'm going to ignore the people who only look at me as"insufficient eternal companion potential" and ignore that I am a person.
