My favorite book?
Uh....yes.
Margaret Mitchell's "Gone With the Wind."
I am a sucker for Rhett and Scarlett. Two terribly awesome people who gave me a different, fresh perspective on the Civil War. I wanted to scream at some points and I still get guilty pleasures opening to certain favorite sections just for a thrill of it. And who can forget the famous opening sentence?
"Scarlet O'hara was not beautiful, but men seldom realized it when caught by her charm as the Tarleton twins were."
And, the famous last line from Rhett Butler:
"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
