Day 28: Describe Your Ideal Man/Woman

Ok, can we go off on a flight of fantasy for a moment? I made this post some time ago but that was before Pinterest.

Let me make a few adjustments:

Here's what would be fantastic to find in a man:
  • Nice Hair. I'm more flexible with hair color than in the past but will probably still gravitate towards brunettes.
  • Nice Legs
  • Nice Jaw Line
  • Charming, shy smile
  • Nerdy, hello, I love men who are wicked smart, don't necessarily care what everybody thinks about them, and they wear glasses!
  • My best friend
  • Foodie,
  • Likes to do co-op cooking with me, and
  • Prefers trying new ethnic food when we go out
  • Likes a sport, not sports; when a guy narrows in on one type of sport that he's way into then he becomes a million times more interesting than a guy who watches everything. Football, soccer, hockey, whatever. Two sports are fine too.
  • Looks great in a well-fitted suit as well as dark wash jeans.
  • And on that note, either dresses well or lets me change his jeans
  • Loves reading and at least pretends he's interested in current events and things I read.
  • Our conversations rock! I like listening to him, he's good at starting great discussions.
  • We laugh a lot. And play. And laugh. A lot.
  • Cuddler.
  • Totally open to trying new things. Which entails: Either trying my crazy weekend date ideas or coming with some creative activities or trying new food or new "potential hobbies"
  • Appreciates a healthy lifestyle
  • Is passionate about his career and does something really cool.
  • Would rather go laser-tagging on Valentines Day and zip-lining for our anniversary
  • Gets my random British rock references
And of course, there's more personal things that I've written in my journal, but my list is getting long. Let's just say he better home teach and have regular temple attendance.

That's all. I look forward to finding a awesome, awkward, super quirky nerd to spend the rest of my days with.

I figure, everybody I have sincerely liked and dated in the past was extra-special and was not your-everyday guy (and I mean that in a good way), so why would the right one be any less weird than any of the others? May I propose he will be weirder, ha, and I'm excited for it. :)

  1. I feel like we have very similar taste. My first wedding anniversary was spent ziplining in Mexico....

  2. Yeah, only a little jealous. Shell ziplined raced for her anniversary- cruise thing, must run in the family.
