Fourteen

<==== This. This is my losing-my-mind face... in a good way. So much has happened in 14 days that I didn't have the kind of time to even communicate to the world what in the world was going on. It still hasn't quite processed either.

In the words of Will Smith, here is the story about how my world got turned upside down. Here are my three incredibly exciting, amazing news:

(1) I accepted a position as project coordinator at Ideas Collide. It was sudden, it was fast. I had already accepted another position at a fantastic company when the boss came in on Thursday asking if I would be interested.  And I answered today. So today hereby marked the end of my internship and the beginning of my first grown-up job.

(2) While I was planning to work for another company in North Scottsdale, I found an apartment, so, I am moving to Scottsdale/Phoenix. I have found an awesome place with a roommate who got a million-and-one accolades from the awesome single congregation I'll be attending. I will be finalizing this move on Labor Day. I feel like the whole North Scottsdale job happened just because God wanted me to be in the Scottsdale singles boundaries. Not going to fight it.

These all came together in about a 14-day period so don't feel bad if you were out of the loop, so was I.

AND!....

(3) I showered this morning. It felt great.

Wait, I guess Number 3 isn't that exciting.

They weren't joking when they said life comes at you fast. I feel like I'm trying to catch up with it.

  1. I think showering is exciting! And sometimes, a burden. All of the above. Also, I want to know who you ended up living with! I'm sure I know them. Do tell. Also, you will love Scottsdale. I mean, I guess I don't know as many people there as I used to but that place...THAT PLACE. It is good people, and a good place. Now I'm nostalgic. I need a minute.

  2. I am moving in with Rachel Jones. Since I switched jobs Nichole would have been too far away (and I realized I'm very allergic to cats) (which is a bummer because she seems like an awesome person).

The ward has been excellent so far. Everybody is super nice. It makes me feel like a jerk, lol, but I'll do my best to step up to the plate. :)
